School of Humanities, Economics and Law Invited Dr. Martin D. Slavens from Fordham University to conduct academic lectures

On November 11, Dr. Martin D. Slavens, Director of Postgraduate Admissions, Fordham University Law School, introduced the US legal system and student exchange programs in English in the conference room 305. Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in law at the School of Humanities and Economic Law participated in this academic lecture

 

Dr. Martin D. Slavens introduced the US judicial system and the operation of US courts, and shared important jurisprudence in the history of US courts. Dr. Martin also gave an in-depth introduction to the 2 + 2, 4 + 1 degree and short-term exchange and cooperation projects between our college and Fordham University. At the same time, he also explained the curriculum and credits of the law LLM major. After the meeting, students interested in the exchange project consulted with Martin D. Slavens.

This lecture increased students' understanding of American law and related systems, expanded their knowledge reserves and learning horizons.And  through the introduction of college-level cooperation projects,it also provided students with overseas exchanges, advanced information and opportunities. Our school has always maintained close contact with Fordham University Law School. This academic lecture has laid a good foundation for future communication.
