Professor Wenbing Zhao's academic lecture was successfully held

On the afternoon of January 3, 2024, at the invitation of the School of Public Policy and Administration, Professor Wenbing Zhao from Cleveland State University in the United States conducted academic exchanges with faculty and students. He gave an academic lecture titled "On Blockchain: Design Principles, Building Blocks, Core Innovations, and Misconcepts" in the lecture hall of Building 305 of the School. This lecture was hosted by Professor Zhou Jiong and attended by some teachers, undergraduate and graduate students from the college.


In the lecture, Wenbing Zhao provided an in-depth analysis of blockchain technology with easy to understand language, scientific data, and vivid examples, vividly presenting the history, development, design concepts, applications, and development prospects of blockchain technology. At the same time, Wenbing Zhao, based on his own research results and combined with the current economic and social background, analyzed the current algorithm demand problems from the perspectives of society, finance, and life, and elaborated in detail on the innovation and application prospects of blockchain technology from a global perspective. During the process of communication and discussion, Wenbing Zhao also answered questions and clarified doubts for the students present, continuously deepening everyone's understanding and cognition of blockchain technology.


Under Wenbing Zhao's vivid and detailed explanation, teachers and students benefited greatly. They not only gained an understanding of the technology and development of blockchain, but also developed a strong interest and enthusiasm in this field. In the future, the School of Public Policy and Administration will continue to hold such academic lectures, bringing students rich professional cutting-edge knowledge and inspiring their academic thinking.
