The School of Public Policy and Administration held a presentation on the Oxford University Summer Visiting Program

On the evening of March 22, 2024, the School of Public Policy and Administration invited Professor Zora Zhou from the Global Development and Outlook Institute of Oxford University to give an online lecture on the Summer Visiting program. The lecture was hosted by the Assistant Dean of the College, Xi Jiancheng, and more than 30 undergraduate and graduate students of the college attended.




At the lecture, Zora Zhou gave a detailed introduction to the students from three aspects: Oxford University and college system, the content of each module of the program, and the application conditions and procedures. This focuse was on the interpretation of the course structure of the 2024 Summer Visiting program in five aspects: academic courses, academic workshops, industry guest lectures, British enterprise visits, British cultural experiences, and British social outreach.



Afterwards, the outstanding students of the college shared their experience of visiting study, so that the students had a more intuitive understanding and feeling of the Summer Visiting study program. In the question and answer session, Zora Zhou patiently answered students' doubts about application conditions, application process and module selection one by one, and suggested that students fully understand the content of the modules they intend to apply for, make reasonable planning and prepare as soon as possible.



The University of Oxford, the oldest university in the English-speaking world with a teaching history dating back to the end of the 11th century, has been ranked first globally for eight consecutive years from 2017-2024. This seminar will help students of the College to understand the international exchange related projects, enhance the enthusiasm of students to apply for international exchange programs, and promote the improvement of the internationalization level of talent training of the college.
